The Rauzan estate was created by Pierre Desmezures de Rauzan in 1661 this Margalais vineyard was one with that of the future Rauzan-Gassies they are split in 1763 Rauzan remained for more than two centuries in the hands of the founding family and became Rauzan-S・・gla in 1816 when Catherine de Rauzan Baroness of Segla arrived at the head of the estate.
